Shown in the bottom photo this Type VII U-boot was part of a public display focused on the "Battle of the Atlantic."  FHQ feels that the use of the replica Knight's Cross, U-boot Badges, Traditions Pins, & Documents signed by Hitler and Donitz increase the "suspension of reality effect" necessary for the viewer's mind to momentarily jump to the place where it believes the boat to be "real."
