"You've weaved your magic again! I had expected (hoped) to see the D.O. III this week, but could hardly believe the surprise when it turned up today. You are a real gem. Can't believe that I haven't bought from you before now. Your replies to my emails are fast, your advice and honesty about your products, absolutely spot on. And now, I have in my possession a medal that I always assumed would only ever be on the pages of my various reference books. I'm delighted with it." David K.

"You know, to a collector, holding one of
these German Order crosses is like what I imagine taking an overdose of Viagra might be
like - not, of course, that our wives or sweethearts could hope to benefit from the
resultant effects! I think that Ill leave it out where my buddies are bound to pick
up the case and peek inside who knows? Maybe one of them will offer to swap me a
sports car for it! (Dont worry,
"Cyrus, That is a dangerous replica so far as I can see. Like so much of your stuff I can see people selling it as real: I'm already getting people asking me to authenticate your BFC insignia as the genuine item. If SoldatFHQ had been operating in the 1940s, German servicemen would have been buying their insignia there." Adrian Weale UK

Soldat FHQ recommends our standard aging option, the GI bring back, (above) which slightly darkens the gold color (actually warmer than this scan shows), ages the enamel, reduces the shine, highlights the details, and truly enhances the pieces. If you are looking for the new old stock, this is also available. This option makes the piece look like it is just seeing light after 60 years on a forgotten, dusty shelf; the shine pleasingly softened and the case ever so slightly yellowed.

This medal gets a Soldat FHQ Collector's Warning as aged this will be very dangerous on the market. Limited number available to those who were smart enough to spot these as fakes on the auctions, not buy them and wait for FHQ to offer them as rare replicas! I have access to under 100 of these! They will not be replicated again!
