Heerfallschirmabzechen in Aluminum

Last time I had one of these in my hand was at a FJ Vet gathering in Germany.  A vet was looking at my display and asked if I'd like to see his Abzeichen.  Out of the pocket came car keys, change and his Heerfallschirmabz in aluminum!  He'd engraved his name and award date on the back with who knows what, but I clearly recall how the "engraving" cut through the gilt finish into the base aluminum of wreath.   The badge is like a feather in the hand, nearly no weight at all. This copy has correct pin, Junker, Berlin marking and feels like a feather in the hand, just about no weight at all!  A perfect piece to go with the presentation piece sold below this aluminum piece was worn on the duty uniform.

Heeresfallschirmabz. or Army Paratrooper Qualification Badge

One of the rarest badges issued to the German Army, issued initially only to the members of the Fallschirm. Inf. Komp. or Parachute Infantry Company prior to their transfer into the Luftwaffe. Shown here in the engraved 800 silver version this stunning two piece badge featuring a unique locking pin clasp and is engraved with name of the soldier, in this case Oblt. Brandis, and Fallschirm. Deutsche Orden I. Klasse

The German Order 1st Class.  Very rare decoration.   No ribbon available at this time.  Superior compliment to the previous Museum   3rd Class Pin back.  This is far superior in construction and detail.  Email for information!

Oak Leaves & Oak Leaves with Swords

Oak Leaves are 800, silber, and maker marked (this one L50), the OL & S are 800 and maker marked (this one 21).  Each E,S u.B. is multipiece riveted construction with 54 faux diamonds (not glass). 22mm in width and 33mm in height these weigh 11 grams.   The silver is 980 Sterling plate while the gold is 680 (14 caret) plate.  Some have a small makers mark on the sword hilt.

Soldat FHQ is pleased to present a all new level of replicas medals.   Being sold now, around the world as "original" these replicas set the bar for accuracy.  Expensive for replicas, for a fake, yes.  However a number of collectors have fallen victim to these copies at all the major shows this year.   Soldat FHQ has reports in about these being on many vendor tables and not one being sold as a replica!

It was just a matter of time till I was asked to age and case one of these new JQ OLSD devices; and here it is.  I scaned the whole case as I like the indention of the device in the lid.

Aged OL/S/D attached to Knight'sCross

Pour le Merite or Order of Merit.   The award of the 1914-18 war given by the hand of the Kiser and worn by a number of high ranking military leaders in the 1939-45 war.  Absolutely beyond the best I have had in the past, crisp detail on the front and back with beautiful rendition of the blue enamel.  I am not aware of the metal content.

Correct "scooped" reverse on Partisan badge!  LW style pins, some with varying maker marks.  Please note I have not seen all the marks available.  Various maker markings, Osang in Dresden, JMME, & B&N L on these LW pieces.  The CCC clazp is Peekhaus, Berlin marked, 3xO with FLL, and really clean fine pin assebly.  |SS cap set eagle is RZM SS360/44 & TK is marked RZM M1/52

There is no contest between FHQ's Museum or Großdeutschesreich Quality and these, it is night and day difference.  The bar has truely been raised.
